Lotto Plus 1 Hot and Cold Numbers

Based on 24 Lotto Plus 1 draws. Only draws since the board changed on 1 June 2026 are counted.

Note on the numbers used: Lotto Plus 1 was drawn from 1 to 58 until the lottery changed hands, and from 1 to 52 since 1 June 2026. Counting both together would rank numbers that can no longer be drawn, so only draws on the current board are included below. That is why the sample here is smaller than our full results history.

Read this one lightly. 24 draws is a small sample, and over a run this short the gap between the most and least frequent numbers is what randomness looks like, not a pattern. The figures below will settle towards the expected value as more draws are added.

Across 24 Lotto Plus 1 draws, 6 numbers are drawn each time from a pool of 52. If the draw is fair, every number should turn up about 2.8 times. The tables below show what actually happened.

Do hot and cold numbers predict anything?

No, and it is worth being straight about why. Each draw is independent: the balls have no memory of the last draw, so a number that has come up ten times is no more or less likely to come up tonight than one that has never appeared. There is no mechanism by which past draws could influence future ones.

What the spread below does show is whether the draw looks fair. Over a small number of draws, big gaps between the most and least frequent numbers are exactly what randomness produces, not evidence of bias. As the record grows, every number should drift towards that same expected figure of about 2.8 appearances. That is the honest use of this data: a fairness check, and something interesting to look at, rather than a system.

If you enjoy picking numbers this way, there is no harm in it. Just know that every combination on the board has exactly the same chance, which also means the numbers nobody else picks are worth more to you: fewer people to share a prize with if it comes in.
