Lotto is drawn at 21:00 South African time, Wednesday and Saturday. Winning numbers appear on this page within minutes of the draw. The prize breakdown follows later, usually a few hours afterwards, because the operator has to reconcile ticket sales before it can confirm what each division pays.
How many numbers does Lotto draw?
6 main numbers from 1 to 52, plus a bonus. The bonus ball is taken from the numbers left in the same pool, so it is never one of the main numbers.
What are the odds of winning the Lotto jackpot?

What is the smallest Lotto prize?
The easiest division is Match 2 + Bonus, and across the draws in our database it has typically paid about R30.00. It is a small return, but it is also by far the most commonly won division.
